How long does sharpening take?
Most sharpening jobs are completed within standard turnaround time based on volume. Usually within 3 business days for a 5-knife order depending on the week.
What types of blades do you sharpen?
We sharpen kitchen knives, hunting and pocket knives, scissors, axes, chisels, pruners, garden tools, and more. We also offer edge restoration, tip repair, rust removal, and polishing when needed. See our services page for more info.
Do I need to prepare my blades before drop-off or pickup?
Yes, it’s preferred that you wrap knives in a protective case, sheath, or even a grocery bag to cover the blades. This helps keep them safe to handle during drop-off or pickup.
Do you accept card payments?
Yes — Steel Sharp accepts card payments through Stripe and PayPal. Please note that card transactions include a small processing fee, which will be added to your total at checkout.
